The Philadelphia Eagles released their third and final official injury report on Wednesday in advance of their Week 1 game against the Atlanta Falcons.Three players have unsurprisingly been ruled out for Thursday evening: Carson Wentz Alshon Jeffery Jersey , Alshon Jeffery, and Mack Hollins. Wentz has been a limited participant in practice all week but we’ve known he wasn’t going to suit up since Nick Foles will be starting under center. The reigning Super Bowl MVP will be backed up by Nate Sudfeld, who had a nice preseason.Jeffery and Hollins did not practice at all this week. Jeffery, who is recovering from offseason shoulder surgery, is reportedly expected to be back around Week 3. Hollins has been dealing with a groin issued and recently suffered a “little setback” as Doug Pederson put it.With Jeffery and Hollins not playing, the Eagles will be without two of their top four receivers. That’s certainly not ideal. Philadelphia will try to get by with the following five against Atlanta: Nelson Agholor Authentic Nick Foles Jersey , Mike Wallace, Shelton Gibson, DeAndre Carter, and Markus Wheaton. Expect Agholor to lead the receivers in targets. Wallace and Gibson have deep threat ability. Carter and Wheaton might seem some rotational playing time but they’re bound to get most of their action on special teams. The Eagles being so light at receiver could prompt then to go heavy with two tight ends featuring Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert in this game. It also wouldn’t be surprising to see them try to really get Darren Sproles and Corey Clement involved in the passing attack. In other injury news, Michael Bennett was a full participant on Wednesday after sitting out on Tuesday. As expected, yesterday was just a rest day for the 32-year-old defender.Jay Ajayi was also a full participant for the second day in a row. The Jay Train will likely lead the Eagles in carries on Thursday night.PHILADELPHIA EAGLES INJURY REPORT (WEDNESDAY)OUTQB Carson Wentz (knee)WR Alshon Jeffery (shoulder)WR Mack Hollins (groin)...RESERVE/SUSPENDED BY COMMISSIONERLB Nigel Bradham (one game)S Deiondre’ Hall (one game)RESERVE/PHYSICALLY UNABLE TO PERFORMS Chris MaragosRESERVE/NON-FOOTBALL INJURYDT Timmy JerniganRESERVE/INJUREDCB Elie BoukaCB D.J. All three players did not participate in practice this week. It’s worth noting that Atlanta is down to four healthy cornerbacks for this game. Falcons long snapper Josh Harris has been ruled questionable for Thursday’s game. Head coach Dan Quinn said he’s going to be a game-time decision. If he can’t play, the Falcons will use Jeff Overbaugh instead. Here’s a “fun” fact about the Falcons ...It figures that an Eagles team that IS dealing with injury issues would find themselves in a spot like this in Week 1.OUTOG Ben Garland (calf)CB Isaiah Oliver (ankle)CB Blidi Wreh-Wilson (shoulder)QUESTIONABLELS Josh Harris (hip) The Eagles will head to London for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars without three members of the roster. The team announced on Thursday afternoon that running back Darren Sproles, cornerback Sidney Jones and linebacker Nathan Gerry will all remain in Philadelphia this weekend. All three have been out of practice both days this week and have injuries that have kept them out of multiple games.Sunday’s game will be the seventh that Sproles has missed with a hamstring injury. Jones is out for the second straight week with the same injury and Gerry is going to miss a third game with ankle and knee problems.Safety Corey Graham and defensive end Derek Barnett were also listed as non-participants, although the team has already confirmed that Barnett will go on injured reserve and have shoulder surgery. Quarterback Carson Wentz went from a limited participant to a full one in a repeat of last week’s trajectory.
