Like losing fat, I failed at this as well because I often overate during "mass building" phases. Both losing fat and gaining muscle must seriously be long term objectives. Try to do either too quickly in the short term and you may end up stuck in the middle like I did. I think I've lastly located a muscle developing approach that works though.
