WoW Classic: A Guide to Dungeons and Leveling
Dungeons can be both a really efficient way to level up as well as a great way to break up the monotony of questing and go up against harder foes while leveling up. Here is a quick guide with everything you need to know while going up against World of Warcraft Classic’s dungeons, with a few of my personal preferences peppered in. Let’s get to it!To get more news about buy wow gold classic, you can visit lootwowgold official website.
Dungeons in Classic World of Warcraft are really engaging and fun, but depending on your group makeup and the specific dungeon in question, they can be tedious and quite challenging to complete.
So how do I get started?
First of all, you’re going to need a group. That means a team of five friends, strangers, or a combination of the two. Generally, that means one tank, one healer, and three DPS classes. Your tank generally should have the most experience and will be calling the shots during your encounters in the dungeon, but not necessarily.
The healer has a lot of responsibility, too, but in general it’s important that you all communicate and work as a team, especially if you are in a PUG (pick up group). The good news about Classic as compared to retail World of Warcraft is that the community is very understanding of new players, and you will come across a whole lot of players who are willing to help you out and forgive your mistakes. Now that you have your group, you need to pick your dungeon, and there are several things to take into account:
1. Difficulty
Depending on the makeup and respective levels of the members of your group, the dungeon you pick needs to reflect your group’s capabilities. Also consider the average experience that the players in your group have, as the more familiar you are with the game, the more effective of a team member you will be.
Quests
As a general rule, while you are leveling up be sure to do at least each dungeon once as you come across their quests, as the experience per hour is very good if you factor in the experience gathered from kills combined with turning in the quests. Also be sure that before you do a dungeon to check which quests are available to do, so that you can get the most out of your run.
Research
This problem is a double edged sword. On one hand, research helps you quickly and efficiently finish your dungeon and get the most experience points and loot for your time, but what is your actual goal? Personally, some of my fondest memories playing this game back in the early 2000’s is when you and a few friends had no idea what was coming or what you were up against, and had to use your own problem solving and intuition to make your way through dungeons.
Nowadays, you will almost always have at least one person in the group who has a lot of experience and has done the dungeon at least a few times, and who can guide your group. A good balance is recommended for the best experience, as some dungeons have super complex maps with skippable bosses that aren’t really worth your time, and others are quick but have a few quirks that can be frustrating to first time players. Overall, find a balance that you personally like between learning the hard way and being super prepared, and you will have the most fun!
